This $6,000,000 recreational facility for the community of Farmington contains a three-court gymnasium surrounded by a track at the mezzanine level. The gymnasium, complete with bleacher seating for 3,680 people, is accessible from both the gym floor and the mezzanine level. Another main feature of this facility is the natatorium, containing both a six-lane lap pool and a leisure pool. The leisure pool contains a water slide, frog slide, raindrop, vortex, lazy river and zero depth entry. Additional features include an aerobic room, weight room, meeting rooms, locker rooms and offices. The facility also offers a community room complete with direct access to the exterior, allowing the remainder of the facility to be closed off. A catering kitchen supports the community room and lobby within the facility for meetings, receptions, etc.  The facility is 58,680 square feet.

As project architect for Hastings & Chivetta Architects, Inc., Ms. Bozoian’s services included:  conducting a building code analysis for approval from authorities having jurisdiction over the project, meeting with the client, coordinating the design among the project team and the consultants, designing and detailing the exterior details and supervising the entire production of the construction documents.
