Located in a suburb of Denver, the focal point of this $9,082,000 recreational facility is its aquatic center. The aquatic center contains an indoor wave pool with zero depth entry, corkscrew slide, raindrop, frog slide, lazy river with a vortex, whirlpool and lap pool.

Additional features of the facility include a gymnasium and gymnastic room surrounded by a running track, three racquetball courts, an aerobic room and a cardiovascular and free weight room. The facility also contains preschool and childcare facilities. The main level contains a multipurpose room, which can be divided into three separate meeting rooms. An adjacent catering kitchen can service the meeting rooms and all three spaces extend out onto a second floor brick balcony overlooking a landscaped courtyard below.

Ms. Bozoian provided project management services for the recreation center for Hastings & Chivetta Architects, Inc. Her services included a building code analysis, client meetings, design coordination among the project team and consultants, and supervising and producing the design and production of the construction documents. The project received national recognition by being featured as the cover story in Athletic Business.
