Bozoian Group Architects was retained by the University of Missouri to investigate critical items for 10 Residential Life facilities. In developing a Condition & Needs Assessment Report, each critical item was evaluated based upon its current condition, life safety concerns, occupant comfort and building life. Some of the critical items included roofing, masonry restoration, window replacement, ventilation, power upgrades, and life safety upgrades. Bozoian Group then estimated the cost associated with each item to include material, labor and contractor overhead. The cost of each critical item, its condition, and its priority were then compared to the master plan schedule for total renovation. Buildings with earlier planned renovations had items relegated to lower priority. Critical items in buildings with later planned renovations were given higher priority.
“Katherine and her staff were probably the most efficient and professional design consultant that I have
worked with during my time as a Construction Project Manager at the University of Missouri. Not only did we receive a well
detailed and sound set of construction documents for our project, but the construction administration services and support
provided by Bozoian Group Architects during the construction phase of the project was outstanding. Katherine and her
staff were always very responsive and provided necessary support in a timely and professional manner, at all times
protecting the interests of the Owner. Without question, a very difficult project was completed successfully in large part,
due to the steady performance of the Bozoian Group Architects. Thank you Katherine for a job well
done!” |
