Parks College, one of thirteen colleges at Saint Louis University, has been among the leading institutions of aviation and aeronautical engineering for over fifty years.

 

As the program grew, the University recognized the need to relocate the aviation school to a new, state-of-the-art facility on its main campus. McDonell Douglas Hall became the new home of Parks College at Saint Louis University.

The exterior of the brick veneer building includes a sloping standing seam metal roof with skylights.  The entrance features a two-story atrium with circular clerestory and exposed steel structure.  Other features include faculty offices, lecture and laboratory classrooms, a flight simulation room, and aeronautical engineering labs housing large and small wind tunnels.
