PRIVATE BANK

DATA CENTER RENOVATION
MISSOURI

Bozoian Group provided design and construction administration services for the renovation of this $1,500,000, ninety thousand square foot facility into a data center for a Midwest banking facility. The design consisted of incorporating three major components: data center, cost containment, and record retention. All three components required heightened security; special security features include a video intercom system, security cameras to monitor temperature, relative humidity, motion, air particles and fluids within and around the facility, and secure card access for restricted entry.

The data center houses the backup server and includes a command center to continuously monitor data center activity, call center, and a disaster recovery area. The data center is designed as a "building within a building" with a three-hour fire rating and other provisions to help ensure that it will remain intact in the event of a disaster. Additional features include a 24-inch raised access floor to accommodate large quantities of wiring and HVAC design to maintain a constant temperature and relative humidity.

The cost containment area includes procurement and accounts payable spaces, business and technical training rooms, and private offices.
